On Tuesday last the hurlers of Franner played in the Corn Ui Neill final in Croke Park. The boys had an unbelievable experience and were treated like stars on the day. We had huge dressing rooms and our own warm up area. Then we had to go down the tunnel and onto the pitch where we were met by our supporters. The team had their picture taken on the pitch and then played the match. We came up against a very talented Divine Word school but we never gave up. DJ once again pulled off some brilliant saves and Cian M scored 1.6 with our inspirational captain Joseph scoring a goal. All 26 boys got to show their skills on the pitch and all did the school. The boys received their runners up medals after the match in an experience that will live long in the memory. A big thank you to all the teachers and supporters who turned up on the day. A huge thank you to Paul and Jerry from St Kevins for all their help throughout the year. Well done boys the whole school is very proud of you.
