SPORTS ROUND UP

This weekend of sport was action packed with Dublin taking on Mayo in the Gaelic and Man Utd taking on Man City. There were other Premier League games, the pick of those was the West Ham vs Everton  match. Everton just about won with a Romenlu Lukaku winner after Leighton Baines scoring 2 free kicks for Everton. Mark Noble had just scored to make it 2-2 but the winner made it 3-2 to Everton. Here are the other results in the Premier League.

Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

Liverpool 0-1 Southampton

Chelsea 2-0 Fulham

Crystal Palace 0-2 Swansea

Arsenal 3-1 Stoke

Cardiff  0-1 Tottenham

Sunderland 0-3 West Brom

So now to the Man City vs Man Utd. On the 16th minute, Sergio Aguero was given a ball into the box and he scored, typical Aguero. And it only got worse on the 45th minute for Utd when Yaya Toure scored from a header. It was a good cross from Negredo. Worse turned to worst when City scored twice in 3 minutes, Nasri and Aguero scored. Utd only replied with a consolation, Wayne Rooney scored a brilliant free kick but that counted for nothing as Man City won 4-1, leaving Utd red faced, literally!

And to round a great weekend off, Dublin beat Mayo 2-12 to 1-14, Bernard Brogan got  2 goals and 3 points. It was a very tight match and a very good match too.

And to finish the weekend Paolo Di Canio got the sack, I would say that Roberto Di Matteo will take over, we will see. Thank you for listening.
