Weekend Sports Round Up

This weekend of sport brought a lot of shocks, including losses for Man City and Man Utd!

But first of all I will tell you about the derby between Spurs and Chelsea. It ended in a 1-1 draw with Spurs striking the first blow. Gylfi Siguarsoon opened the scoring after 18 minutes, showing there is life without Gareth Bale, well that was until John Terry equalised on the 64th when he scored a header! Things took another twist when on the 80th minute when Fernando Torres got sent off for an incident with Jan Vertonghen, but Chelsea managed to hang on to a point, just!

The other 2 main matches were Man City vs Aston Villa and Man Utd vs West Brom, but surprisingly it was Villa and West Brom who came out on top. Villa beat City 3-2 and West Brom beat Utd 2-1, showing that anything is possible,(come on VILLA)!

Other Premier League Results

Swansea 1-2 Arsenal

Liverpool 3-1 Sunderland

Norwich 1-0 Stoke

Hull   1-0 West Ham

Everton 3-2 Newcastle

Southampton  2-0 Crystal Palace

Fulham 1-2 Cardiff

It was a topsy-turvy weekend. I think Utd will not regain their title and I think we are in for a shocking season and I don’t think some managers will last much longer….thank you for reading about this exciting weekend!
