Sports Weekend Round Up

This weekend was the craziest round up of sports so far this season, and I am not lying!

In a Top Of The Table clash between Arsenal and Liverpool, Arsenal took the lead when Santi Cazorla scored after 19 minutes after he hit the post from a header but he followed  up on that with a rebound strike.  It was a  very good goal and Arsenal went up 1-0! Throughout the game Arsenal prevented the SaS partnership of Sturridge and Suarez, and Liverpool paid for not taking their chances when Arsenal’s man in-form Aaron Ramsey scored a brilliant goal, and made it 2-0.  And that’s the way it stayed to put Arsenal 5 points ahead at the top! It was a bad day for Norwich  as well as they lost 7-0 to Man City, the goalscorers were Johnson (own goal), Silva , Nastasic, Negredo, Toure, Agureo and Edin Dzeko, so it looks like Chris Hughtons days are numbered as Norwich City manager! It may also be the same for Fulham manager Martin Jol as they lost to the era ending Man Utd 3-1, Valencia, Van Persie and Rooney scored for Utd , and Fulham’s consolation was a Wayne Rooney own goal, it was a nervy second half for Utd, sounds like their whole season to be honest!

Other Scores

West Brom 2-0 Crystal Palace

Everton 0-0 Tottenham

Stoke 1-1 Southampton (Stoke’s goalie scored in 13 seconds)

Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

West Ham 0-0 Aston Villa

Hull City 1-0 Sunderland

Swansea 0-1 Cadiff

That was that, and for anyone who does not know Martin O Neil is going to be the new Ireland manager with Roy Keane as his assistant, so the future is looking bright!
